              If you're making something like soup and it's too salty, cut a few potatoes in half and toss them in. As the potatoes cook they suck in a lot of salt.

                                                    Overcooked rice can be turned into amazing rice pudding! Just make sure that the recipe you are using calls for cooked rice (some recipes have you cook the rice in the milk, others start with pre-cooked rice).

                                                                      I can't believe they did not say to make French Toast (Pain Perdu) with stale bread. That's literally why pain perdu was invented, to repurpose stale bread (but for some reason people in the US make it with soft, square bread)

                                                                                I was surprised by the chocolate question. Lumpy chocolate which seems dry when being melted is a result of too much heat. Low low heat and keep it continuously moving to avoid this but if that fails often adding a bit of oil can bring back the smoothness. Certainly not more heat though.

                                                                                      Regarding sad green herbs, you can put them in 50℃ water (122 degree for Americans) and they would come back. That is what I heard. Try it!

                                                                                              If the stem of the fruit in question isn't already dead you can wrap it in a bag or really anything plastic or airtight, which in turn will slow down the oxidation process so that not all is lost (preferably placed in fridge after wrapping)
