  • Everybody has a different opinion on how to make lobster rolls. Whether top split or side split, butter or mayo, there is no single way to make a perfect one. Chris makes lobster rolls from scratch, starting by 'dispatching' the live lobsters (not for the faint of heart)

    I would’ve taken the bands off the claws. Always do when I cook lobster. Little dangerous sometimes but so worth it

                                      The lobster roll originated as a dish served warm at, Perry's restaurant (1929) in Milford, Connecticut. It consisted of grilled and buttered hot dog-style bun with the opening on the top, lobster meat, lemon juice, salt and black pepper. Everything else is a lobster salad roll.

                                                                    I was just at Acadia National Park and tried 3 different lobster roles. In my opinion the best was at Charlotte's Lobster Pound by Seawall Point. Tossed in butter was great.
