    is there a really good free vpn out there that's worth trying out?? and i'm talking a full vpn for trial offers.....

      SCODI OFFICER:001  1 weeks back

      @UDLTUBE I used opera almost everyday back then but when I used a different VPN like Windscribe or Psiphon Pro I noticed that they're faster than Opera's VPN and they don't have any logging policy.

      So I read the privacy policy of Opera Browser and low and behold!

      *-They log your VPN activity*
      *-They know what your online activity is*
      *-They can report to the feds if you do* *anything illegal and they sell your* *habits and personal data for "research purposes"*

      So yeah I ain't gonna use those shits ever again,just use Comodo's Dragon Browser,it's basically google without tracking and with free built-in malware blocker.(it's also compatible with every google add-ons like free VPN providers)

      -don't use opera,because opera proxy + TOR would be less secure than VPN + Tor.

      -It does mask your real IP but the connection itself is barely secured.

      UDLTUBE  1 weeks back

      @SCODI OFFICER:001 does it mask your IP? does it slow your speed? are you using this VPN (Opera ? is it ?) as recommended in this video, with Tor etc., I notice that some YouTubers say it is a bad idea to use a VPN with Tor ...if you have time, I'd appreciate your imput.

      SCODI OFFICER:001  1 weeks back

      @UDLTUBE In what way?It worked fine for me and it also did well on the tests I conducted.

      UDLTUBE  1 weeks back

      How did you make out? I tried CyberGhost free extension and had to remove the same day, it was useless.

      SCODI OFFICER:001  2 weeks back

      @Heinrich Müller It's just a proxy not an actual VPN and they log and sell all your browsing data.

        another good idea is to run all of this on a VM with a spoofed mac address

            I have been checking into a VPN (is that the only way to mask IP?) and Comcast told me a VPN will take up to 80% of speed. I watch a lot of TV on the computer so I'm really concerned about that. Comcast also said that a VPN is really only necessary if I'm online at a public place for hours at a time. He said Comcast security is really good. I want to buy a prescription online that I can't get from my doctor anymore. What do you think ?

                *Just Use:*

                DNS = Cloudflare
                OS = Windows (Use Linux if you're a pro)
                Firewall = Comodo Firewall
                Antivirus = Bitdefender
                Browser = Comodo or Comodo Dragon
                VPN-(1/4 and more...)
                *Nord VPN (Paid)*
                *CyberGhost (Paid)*
                *ProtonVPN (Free)*
                *Windscribe VPN (Free)*

                Ransomstopper (Free)
                Acronis Ransomware Protection (Free)
                Virtualbox (VM)
                Glasswire Firewall (Sorta firewall)

                Just use em properly and you'd be one of the most anonymous people surfing the internet. (but it's gonna be too damn slow)

                                                                Okay, the fact that this is becoming widespread knowledge (how to be browse the internet anonymously), honestly scares me. Most people don't need to know about tails and Tor, or even VPNs for that matter. Because the more people who do know, there may be more and more people who suddenly realize they can break the law this way, and who choose to do so.

                                                                The information in this video is pretty much a gateway to committing crimes. Once the wrong people know about this and know exactly how to do it, that becomes a problem - if it isn't already. So yes, when I see videos like this explaining everything, I am terrified. Genuinely. And I hope people don't fall for the temptation to break the law. There's no going back from that/erasing what you see, so don't do it...

                                                                                Sure, you got your hands on a few things to keep yourself safe from snoopers; Governments; Ads etc, but that traffic that you're redirecting to another location can be seen by somebody. It may not come up as you but it will surely come up as somebody has looked this thing or went to this page. If you really want to get 100% safe than make your own VPN server that's hooked up with a 2ND lane ISP (Never go for 3rd or higher). What are lanes? Think of it like a country lane which is 1st, state lane which is 2nd, and City Lane which is 3rd. There can be 4th Lane which is a small area. All of these lanes connect to the 1st Lane, like this... 3rd Lane (city) connects to a 2nd Lane which is (state), and 2nd Lane connects to a 3rd Lane. When you make your own VPN server, place it in a country that doesn't necessarily read or track network traffic as strict. But be cautious about what you use, a VPN can see everything so don't use a free one. There is tons more to go about this but meh.

I didn't want them to spam me for weeks with adds, or only show features they wanted to sell me on. Guess what, they do not allow shopping anonymously - they won't even let me look. I guess the only way to shop anonymously is to go brick and mortar and never answer the sales persons questions about me.
                                                                                      This might make me anonymous, but if there is nowhere to go...
