Cody, we are on such different levels, but I feel like we are connected in an unbreakable bond through our handwriting. Does your family make fun of the things you write on the grocery list, too?

Hmm. Good-to-know. Now I can add some activated carbon to me hunting gear and maybe tag a trophy Buck.

I would be interested to know whether the diy activated charcoal's effectiveness decay's over time. It could be that the reason the commercial activated carbon had worse results than the diy is that the commercial batch had more time to absorb latent particles in the air whereas the diy stuff was more fresh.

Instead of finning the tubes with tin. You can fill them with sand for bending. then just poor it out.

the fact that your carbon was better than commercial is not surprising. Remember how NileRed made his own ferrofluid. It had more prominent properties because he used a higher concentration of magnetite than that of commercially bought one
