What I always say about Calvin Johnson is that the only thing that held him back was his will to play. He wasn’t necessarily the toughest guy and he didn’t care about playing enough to sacrifice his body for personal greatness. If you woulda combined that talent with a desire to be great he’s easily the greatest wr ever.

I remember shortly before he retired he played against the Seahawks (back when they were LOB) and Chancellor rocked him when he tried to catch a pass up the middle (somewhat like he did Edelman in the Superbowl except Juelz ate that hit like lunch). From there on I could see he wasnt playing with that same dawg mentally and wasnt surprised when he retired. Glad he played it smart and moved on to bigger and better things.
